You can’t make a sundial out of a billboard.

"Can that thing actually work?", when I presented the idea to the head of creative.  I naively said, "of course it can".  Six months later and a team of many amazing minds collaborated to to create this accurate working Sundial to showcase McDonald's breakfast items throughout different times of the morning. Since then, it globally changed the possibility of what could be done in this medium. I'd like to pay honor to the late Chris Huff, the Nasa engineer whose efforts helped prototype and create something almost impossible.

Recognized immediately and shared by millions as one of the most innovative OOH boards, the Sundial captured the attention of broadcast news, media outlets and pop culture within days around the globe. It became one of the most awarded pieces of creative in the world, winning several Grand Prix and was inducted into the Clio Hall of Fame. Even more importantly, it gave a client confidence for another project the following year and became another award winner with "Fresh Salads" as well as giving our agency over 50mm worth of new ad spend for a national OOH campaign.
